(MOCST)- Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien received Chairman and CEO of Legend Group, vice chairman of CITIC Group Corporation (Macao, China) David Chow on August 14th.
At the meeting, David Chow thanked Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien for welcoming them. “The Group’s visit aims at promoting tourism development between Macao and Vietnam," David Chow said.

About the operation of his Group, Chow said that, at the present, Legend Group has achieved many achievements in building clean agriculture and improving land and environment.
Besides investing many tourism projects in China, Legen Group also set targets to Vietnam and Cambodia. Reportedly, the Group used to release a plan of tourism complex in Da Nang.
Recognizing the strong growth path of Vietnam's tourism sector, David Chow expressed his desire to invest in the fields of resort tourism, agricultural tourism and medical tourism.
In turn, Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien stressed that tourism is a key economic sector which is being invested strongly by the Party and Government of Vietnam.
Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien also shared about the increase of the number of international tourists to Vietnam in the last 3 years. In 2019, Vietnam is expected to welcome about 18 million international tourists.
In order to reach the above results, the Government of Vietnam has created favorable conditions on policies and legal basis for domestic and foreign investors to invest in tourism, according to Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien.
The Minister also affirmed that the Group will be create favorable conditions to invest in Vietnam.
