(Cinet) – The Steering Committee - Organizing Committee in the15th Anniversary of Vietnam Family from June 28th, 2001 to June 28th, 2016 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was established according to Decision No. 2201/QD-BVHTTDL issued on June 22nd, 2016.
Accordingly, the Steering Committee consists of three members led by Deputy Minister Dang Thi Bich Lien. The Organizing Committee consists of 14 members led by Ms. Tran Tuyet Anh, Director General of Home Affairs Department and Mr. Duong Van Quynh, Director of the Vietnam Cultural and Art Exhibition Centre as co-chairpersons. Mr. Tran Huong Duong Van Huu Hua, Deputy Director of Home Affairs Department and Mr. Hoang Huu Chinh, Deputy Director of the Office of the Ministry are posted as Deputy charmans.
The Steering Committee - Organizing Committee act with responsibility for organizing activities which celebrate the15th Anniversary of Vietnam Family Day (June 28, 2001- June 28, 2016) of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in order to assure the success and effectiveness of this celebrations in accordance with the current regulations of the State.
The 15th anniversary on Vietnam Family Day ranges the activities on the purpose of honoring the traditional values of Vietnamese families. By this way, these activities will contribute to promoting the propogandas and enabling the advocacy from the public better in the process of implementing a civilized lifestyle, building well-behaved culture in the families, communities and societies; inheriting and strengthening traditional good values, selectively acquiring new values and advances; preventing domestic violence and promoting gender equality in the family, distributing the propaganda about the value of the family; highlighting the responsibility of the leaders at all levels and in all sectors, public and social organizations and families interested in building a prosperous and progressive ones.
