Search for National Young Talented Choreographers 2016

(Cinet)- National young talented choreographers competition 2016 organized by the Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Association of Dance Artists, Ho Chi Minh City Culture, Sports and Tourism Department and related agencies and institutions will be taken place at the end of June in 2016 in Ho Chi Minh city.

The competition is targeted at honoring the young talents in the field of choreography, recognizing creative efforts of artists in the process of creating their works. This is also an opportunity for young choreographers to exchange professional and  learning experiences in all aspects and improve the quality of songwriting and performing arts, gradually reaching the required standards in the regional and international contests so as to encourage Vietnamese choreographers to participate. Through the contest, arts managers discover, assess the status of choreography resources for the purpose of finding practical solutions in training and fostering young talents and finding highly qualified and artistic choreographic works. Accordingly, they can  plan and provide directions to develop dance in coming times in a sustainable way.
In the competition, talents of participants will be evaluated by the creative process related to reflecting contents, ideas, iconic arts, message of works.
