The concert is directed by People’s Artists Anh Phuong, Director of Viet Nam National Opera and Ballet. It aims to introduce the rich and delicate culture from various regions of Viet Nam to international and Russian audiences, at the same time to honor the art and culture values of Viet Nam.
“With all beautiful music and dance acts which have been carefully chosen, I hope viewers will be able to feel the cheerful spirit, the passion for love, as well as the aspiration for peace and happiness of Viet Nam people,” said Anh Phuong.
In addition, a number of Russian songs and melodies will be performed by Vietnamese artists, expressing the fruitful friendship between Viet Nam and Russia.
Ministry Nguyen Ngoc Thien has recognized the efforts of artists from Viet Nam National Opera and Ballet. Nguyen believed that with a good repertoire, performed by one of the most prestigious theaters in Viet Nam, the concert will be definitely a highly anticipated event in Viet Nam Cultural Days in Russia. He also requested director and artists to consider for more performances featuring Viet Nam’s characteristics that will attract both Vietnamese community in Russia and Russian audiences.
Viet Nam Cultural Days in Russia will be held from Jun 4 – 12 at Moscow and Volgograd, Russia. The event looks to promote cultural values and the potential tourism of Viet Nam to Russian audiences, as well as to enhance the mutual understanding, friendship and the cooperation between the two countries.
Major activities in Viet Nam Cultural Days in Russia include two concerts in Moscow and Volgograd, and an exhibition of Viet Nam silk paintings conducted by Viet Nam Fine Arts Museum. Besides, a seminar with the participant of Viet Nam and Russian’s officials working in the field of tourism, representatives of Viet Nam Embassy in Russia, and businessmen from two countries, as well as a formal dinner will be hosted by Viet Nam Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
