(Cinet)- Decision No.1436/QĐ-BVHTTDL on April 14 of Ministry of Culture,Sports and Tourism relates to approve for activities of leader of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at Meeting of Russian and ASEAN culture ministers in Sochi, Russia.
Purpose: promoting cultural exchange between Vietnam-some ASEAN countries, Vietnam-Russia and ASEAN-Russia. Vienam participates into ASEAN-Russia Cultural Festival to introduce some Vietnamese values to some ASEAN countries, Russian people and international friends in Russia through some performing activities of arts, exhibition.
Some activiites should comprise some art programs of cultural identity in order to introduce Vietnam tourism potentiality. Some activities should ensure requirement and direction of leader from the Ministry.
Main activities:
The Meeting of Russian and ASEAN culture ministers: Leaders and cadres from International Cooperation Department participate into the high-level seminar of ASEAN-Russia cultural cooperation. The program is implemented before May 18, 2016.
Leader of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and some cadres from International Cooperation Department attends the Meeting on May 19, 2016.
Russia-ASEAN Cultural Festival
The art performing program at ASEAN-Russia Cultural Festival will be performed by Viet Bac Traditional Music, Song and Dance Theatre. Some artists will participate into traditional dancing, music of Vietnam with some values of Vietnamese culture.
Main activities of the troupe consists of performing art program in the opening ceremony of the festival, art performing program of some participating countries at the festival; art performing program “Gala concert” at the festival; art performing art program at the opening ceremony of culture-art exhibition in a framework of ASEAN-Russia Cultural Festival.
Exhibition: Display of culture and arts in a framework of ASEAN-Russia Cultural Festival to introduce Vietnam’s land, people, culture; some handicraft products and Vietnam traditional music equipments. The International Cooperation Department is responsible for the exhibition.

Activities of media and press is an important activity to introduce events to the public, especially the Russian people.
The ministers of culture of Russia and the ASEAN countries will meet in Sochi in May in the framework of the cross-year of culture marking the 20th anniversary of their partner relations, said Alla Manilova, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation.
"An ASEAN — Russia Summit to be held in May will mark 20 years of partnership between Russia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. We'll hold our first bilateral culture festival within the framework of the summit. Another important event will be the first meeting of culture ministers," Ms Manilova said.
A combined youth symphony orchestra of Russia and ASEAN will perform at the festival's opening ceremony.
The International Cooperation Department will participate into writing and collecting some information and sending to Cultural Newspaper to upgrade information of the event.
