Implementing National Action Month on family violence prevention

(Cinet)- On April 15, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism had Document No.1293/BVHTTDL-GĐ sending to People’s Committee in some provinces and cities to implement National Action Month on Family violence prevention.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed People’s Committee in some provinces and cities to implement some tasks as follows:

1. Prior to human resource in National Action Program on family violence prevention up to 2020. Studying to turn some targets and tasks in National Action Program on family violence prevention and plan of socio-economic development.
2. Implementing National Action Month on family violence prevention on June 01, 2016 – June 30, 2016 with title of “Family-human resource and responsibility on family violence prevention”.
Family violence is legal violation; some issues on family violence and development for children; children protection is responsibility for parents and members in family; love and sharing keeps family happiness.
3. Diversifying some forms of information, propagandizing family issues inclusing situation of family violence; forms and aftermath of family violence; measures to solve and responsibility of individuals, family and organization.
4. Praising and honouring some individuals and organizations with high achievements on preventing family violence.
The Ministry proposed People’s Committee to implement some tasks and make a report to the Prime Minsiter before December 25, 2016.
