Even the restaurant had run out of meat at just 10am, many customers insisted on waiting for their meals there.
Knowing as, each complete serving costs VND80,000 (equivalently US$3.5) for both rice noodles with grilled pork, meatballs and seafood rolls, which is quite expensive for a meal for Hanoians, But now many customers waited patiently to try the food that President Obama - one of the most famous and powerful presidents in the world - enjoyed. Earlier in 2000, “pho” – another famous Viet Nam ese dish with noodles and beef or chicken had been more popular after US President Bill Clinton visited Viet Nam and ate in a restaurant near the Ben Thanh Market in HCM City. Same as the case of Huong Lien Bun Cha, the restaurant where Bill Clinton was served for “pho” dish has been well-know ever since then and now has been called as “Pho 2000” to document the year the U.S President visited Viet Nam .
