Minister Hoang Tuan Anh: Awarding a National Relic Certificate to a group of temples Tam Vi Duc Thanh Tan (Ha Tay province)

(Cinet)- April 20th, at Ba Vi National Garden, Ba Vi District was greatly honored to hold a rewarding ceremony of Ha Temple – Trung Temple – Thuong Temple National Relic Certificate and open the 2008 tourist season of the Ba Vi District.

A historical group of Ha Temple – Trung Temple – Thuong Temple worshipped Tan Vien Son at Ba Vi mountainous area is a place of worship of Tam Vi Duc Thanh Tan, which was built many years ago. The Group has undergone many historical changes; however, its traditional character as the quintessence of an ancient architect. Ha Temple is an ancient one along the bank of Da River (formerly, Thu Phap commune and presently in Phuc Loc village, Minh Quang commune). As a huge and old temple with three horizontal rows of houses, the Temple was damaged heavily due to devastating war and only its pillar footing system keeps unchanged.

Making a speech at the ceremony, Leader of Ha Tay Province expressed his thanks for the support of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. At the same time, Ba Vi district’s authorities and people are assigned to preserve and restore the relic area; positively propagandize to improve the awareness of people about the relic area’s scientific value and significance; conduct management and protection work well to avoid being encroached and having negative impacts on environment and natural landscape; and implement the restoration planning of the relic area. In the future, the historical group of Ha Temple – Trung Temple – Thuong Temple along with Uncle Ho Temple and other relics surrounding Tan Mountain will become a key group of relics in Ba Vi district. Provincial People’s Committee appointed Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with other Departments on conducting management work well and strengthening protection and restoration work, contributing to promoting the relic area’s national cultural value.
