(Cinet)- On 25th and 26th April, a Delegation led by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh – Commissioner of the Executive Committee of the Central Party visited and worked with Yen Bai Province.
Welcoming and working with the Delegation was competent authorities, including Hoang Xuan Loc – Provincial Party Committee Secretary cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; Hoang Thuong Luong – Provincial Party Committee Vice-Secretary cum Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee.
At the working session, Leaders of Yen Bai Province suggested Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism directing Units under the Ministry to support professional skills in making a detailed exhibition outline for a Museum of Yen Bai Province; considering and recognizing the tourist area of Thac Ba pond under the national tourist system, at the same time, sponsor investment expenses to complete some unfinished works at the tourist area of Thac Ba pond.
The province also recommended the Ministry to sponsor investment expenses under the national target Program for Houses of Culture at hamlets and villages in accordance with the 2006 – 2010 projection for building a basic cultural life; continuously support equipment and culture, sports and tourism institution under the guidance of the Ministry facilitating Nghia Lo town as a high quality cultural one.
On behalf of the Delegation, Minister Hoang Tuan Anh praised a large number of achievements gained by Yen Bai ethic groups in the last few years, especially in the fields of culture, sports and tourism. To further develop culture, sports and tourism, the Minister ordered Yen Bai Province to promote its strengths on agro-forestry economy; care much about rural planning and treatment of waste, environmental sanitation, power, road, school, station, and cultural institution facilitation. Additionally, Yen Bai Province should be interested in improving a strong staff of culture, sports and tourism to carry out policies of the Party and the State well in the national integration era.
On this occasion, the Minister visited and gave gifts to a poor household Le Quang Bien and a household of a wounded soldier Khong Trong Le in Ban Ben hamlet, Viet Hong commune and offered 03 television to Viet Hong and Bao Hung communes and even Yen Bai College of Tourism and Artistic Culture.
