Youth Union of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism: Launching a competitive movement “Study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh”

Cinet)- On 23rd May 2008, the Youth Union of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a solemn ceremony to report merits and carry thuribles to Uncle Ho at the Presidency Palace and relic area of Ho Chi Minh President.

At the ceremony, the Youth Union of the Ministry launched a competitive movement “Every unit of the Youth Union, member and young person strives to do a good thing”, contributing to encouraging practical activities of the Youth Union of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to mark the 60^th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh President making an appeal to patriotic Competition.

 On behalf of the whole members and young people, Trinh Ngoc Chung – Deputy Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported achievements of the Youth in the Industry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with Uncle Ho at 67 House in which Uncle Ho had died.

Basic delegations’ representatives carried thuribles respectively and watch emotional films on the last minutes of Uncle Ho’s life.

At the launching ceremony of the competitive movement “Study and follow the moral example of Ho Chi Minh”, Representatives from Youth Unions at basic agencies signed a mutual agreement to implement competitive campaigns with 6 major contents: Continuously promoting movements “Study and follow the moral example of Uncle Ho” and “The Youth follows Uncle Ho’s guidances” launched by Ministry of Politics and the Secretariat of the Central Committee; Implementing movements efficiently “Every unit of the Youth Union, member and young person strives to do a good thing”; Coordinating with Executive Committee of the Government and Party in combating corruption and savings ; Organizing many activities “Returing somebody’s favour”, “Drinking water is grateful to one’s benefactor” and other moral and charity ones; Looking after and educating young children; Encouraging members and teenagers to keep studying and enhancing their qualification on every fields, contributing to completing assigned professional tasks; Participating in renovating administration, building civilized lifestyles at offices, register and complete at least a part of the Youth’s tasks.

On behalf of the Central Committee of Trade Union of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Le Thi Phuong – Secretary of Trade Union of the Ministry said: “The Party’s Executive Committees and Leaders of Units under the Ministries are more interested in the Youth, creating the best condition for the competitive movements of Trade Union of the Minsitry marking the 60^th anniversary of Uncle Ho making an appeal to patriotic competition successfully, contributing to the cause of educating and nourishing the youth nationwide.
