(Cinet)- Recently, the ministry of culture, sports and tourism already promulgated the decision 2916 /QĐ-BVHTTDL dated 01 july 2008 regulating the functions, tasks and rights of the national cultural Publishing house.
The main function of the national cultural publishing house regulated on this decision is publishing, printing and issuing publishing works on: culture, arts of ethnic minority groups; policies of the communist party and the state, especially the ethnic policies and national cultural policies to ensure and develop the traditional cultural values of the ethnic community, building the great national unity and contributing to building Vietnam advanced national culture having strong characters; Popularizing the knowledge to improve the intellectual standards for ethnic minority and mountainous people on the fronts of politics, law, culture - society, economics, science – techiques; electing and introducing the quintessence of the national culture of the world ethnic groups to improve the spiritual life of the ethnic minority and mountainous people; Printing and processing many kinds of publishing works, newspapers, magazines, tables of products serving the social demand.
Detailed tasks of the national cultural publishing house are as follows: the publishing house is responsible for editing, publishing works introducing traditional culture of the ethnic groups of Vietnam community; literature products – arts , the translated and composed works of ethnic minority authors or works having the subject of ethnic minority and mountainous people to serve readers inside and outside the country; Producing programs: listening, seeing, postcards, parallel sentences; types of calendars and art products to serve the local demand and export; Selecting, buying the copyright to translate and publish works of great values of the work ethnic groups to serve the people of Vietnamese ethnic groups; To carry out editing, publishing cultural products- information suitable in Vietnamese,and ethnic minority languages to propaganda the policies, law, especially the ethnic policies, religion of the communist party and the state; struggling and criticizing the signs of anti-culture, backwardness and the plot to separate the great national unity; praising the traditional solidarity, patriotism and examples of good people and good doings of the ethnic minority people; Instructing the appliance of science and technology to contribute to the economic development of ethnic minority areas….( the detais in this decision)
