(Cinet)- On 12th November, Phu Tho Province was honorably awarded a National relic ratings Certificate for Ren village archaeological vestiges – key tombs’ residential relics in the initial period of the bronze age at Gia Thanh commune, Phu Ninh district.
The Ren village archaeological vestiges have been discovered by archaeologists since 1968. An estimated number of uncovered objects are 2,794 stones, 572 potteries and over 10 million pieces of pottery after it had been excavated six times. These objects have such diversified forms as production tools, weapons, jewelries and daily life things in stone and pottery. Of which 5 nha chuong is relatively untouched, presenting excellent and skilled stone-making arts of the Vietnamese ancient people.
Discovering, excavating and studying the Ren village archaeological vestiges contribute greatly to identifying the Phung Nguyen Culture’s physical relics, known as the original culture of the Hung Vuong era.
