Flowers and forest by five woman painters

Five members of the HCM City Woman Painter Club is sharing an exhibition named Flowers – Forest held from March 1-10 at the HCM City Exhibition House, 92 Le Thanh Ton, District 1, HCM City.

Of the five painters, Dang Thi Duong, Cao Thi Duoc and Nguyen Thuy Huong are lecturers of the HCM City University of Arts.

The exhibition is organised on the occasion of the Women’s Day (March 8). With five styles, the exhibition still shows the womanhood.

Dang Thi Duong’s paintings are about the old battlefield, Truong Son but they are very bright with owls under violet moonlight and bright colours of leaves, flowers and forest.

Young girls are the major topic in Cao Thi Duoc’s paintings while Nguyen Thuy Huong focuses on rose gardens of Da Lat plateau. Nguyen Dam Thuy’s paintings are also about the beauty of young girls. Nguyen Thi Tam contributes oil paintings.
