(Cinet)- Comrade Nguyen Van Hiep – Deputy Chairman of provincial People’s Committee has recently chaired a meeting for approving the projection “Developing Binh Duong public library system until 2020 (regulated) and oriented until 2020”.
At the meeting, delegates discussed and gave their ideas with a view towards regulating the projection in line with the development of Binh Duong province from now to 2010. The target of this projection is to improve the operating quality of public library system; serve the residents and strengthen human resources for the whole public library system; ensure an adequate number of professional cadres and at the same time meeting increasingly information demands of the society.
In the coming years, the projection will keep being conducted with a view towards ensuring library model of books and electrics and developing additional library system for children. Beside that, developing communal and district library system is suitable to general planning and the locals’ socio-economic development situation. To carry out above-mentioned contents, Comrade Nguyen Van Hiep suggested, ‘’ the Library in co-ordinate with Department of Culture and Information consults provincial People’s Committee about issuing standards, procedures, scale and regulating in line with this following period. At the same time, reinforcing human resources aims at creating higher efficiency in the Library’s activities.
