​Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy and delegates of ethnic groups pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

(MOCST)- On the afternoon of August 18th, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy and the officials of Son La Province and over 200 delegates of ethnic groups in north west region offered incense to late President Ho Chi Minh.

In the framework of the 14th festival of northwestern culture, sports and tourism in 2019, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy, Son La Province leaders, more than 200 representatives of ethnic minorities and young people offered incense and flowers at the copper statue of President Ho Chi Minh with people of the Northwest ethnic groups.

The delegates spent a minute's silence in remembrance of Uncle Ho.
Over 200 people from ethnic groups and young volunteers offered incense and flowers at the statue.
 
This was a meaningful activity in a series of activities within the framework of the 14th festival of northwestern culture, sports and tourism in 2019.
 
Soon after, the parade of Son La youth and convoys of other provinces attending the 14th festival of northwestern culture, sports and tourism in 2019 marched through the streets of the city.
