The 2016 Viet Nam – Japan festival will take place on November 18-20 |
The fourth Japan-Viet Nam festival will be organized in a large scale with some activiites of cultural exchange and art program including artistic performances, cuisine exchanges, cosplay, product exhibitions, and interactions with Japanese businesses among others. There are 30 stalls of trade promotion and forum of agriculture at the festival in order to enhance a cooperating relationship between Japan and Viet Nam.
Nguyen Thanh Phong, a president of Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee highly appreciated the cooperating relation in terms of culture and education and activities of Nhat Ban festival in 3 past years. The event opens a chance for a cultural exchange between Ho Chi Minh Ciyt and Japan and attracts some investors from Japan.
Leader of Ho Chi Minh city pledges to create more condition to organize the successful festival as foundation for promoting the Viet Nam and Japan relation.The fourth annual season will be named the “Japan – Vietnam Festival”, aimed at cementing unity between the two countries.
The Japanese official hoped to contribute into the festival, which would help boost the cultural and economic exchanges between the two nations.
The Japan Festival in Vietnam was first organized in 2013 to mark the 40th anniversary of Japan-Vietnam diplomatic relations and has been held annually ever since at 23/9 Park in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
