The event held for the first time in 2015 and the Vietnam Connection 2016 is considered as the largest scale event.
Accordingly, the Viet Nam Connection 2016 comprises 5 performances in Ho Chi Minh City (on August 07 and 09) and Ha Noi (on August 11-13-14).
With logo of lotus, Viet Nam Connection will become a destination of ancient music and a connecting orientation, turning Vietnamese ancient music out of the border and go closer to the world
Participants at the event will have chance to enjoy classical music presented by artists from numerous countries across the world such as the United States, Poland, Germany, Brazil, Venezuela, South Africa, Japan, and so on. Notably, many talents of the Vietnamese classical music will also be on stage. They are Chuong Vu, Bui Cong Duy, Ngo Hoang Linh, Pham Truong Son, Tran Thai Linh, Nguyen Trinh Huong, and Le Thu Huong.
The Organization Board will hold a gala concert themed "A festival of songs and dances" on August 14 at the National Music Academy of Vietnam in Hanoi.
On August 11, the program which will be taken place at Geothe Institute named the four seasons in brandenburg will introduce the works of Italia musician Vivaldi.
These events are parts of an annual program launched by violist Bui Cong Duy and his team in 2015 with an aim to gather Vietnamese classical music lovers and connect them to the world classical music.
