(Cinet)- On 19th - 21st November, Ngoc Than village, Ngoc My, Quoc Oai Ha Tay started to rebuild and restore two historical and cultural vestiges, including left and right sides of the communal house and temple of literature.
Ngoc Thanh communal house was built at Giap Dan year (1674); up to Quy Hoi year (1683), it was expanded on the first scale; and at Dinh Dau year (1717) it was enlarged on the second scale. So far, almost all the works among a cluster of vestiges has been preserved in such an intact way.
The temple of literature is located in Giua hamlet, which is far from nearly 50m compared with the communal house. It architectural style was designed as two parallel houses, of which each house had three simple rooms with smooth wood under the housing shape of the Nguyen dynasty. The temple of literature will be rehabilitated based on its old architectural style. An estimated cost is worth more than 500 million VND supported by the local budget and people’s donation. The restoration of these vestiges will be possibly completed prior to the Mau Ty Tet holiday (lunar calendar).
