Minister Hoang Tuan Anh visited and worked at the university of Vietnam fine arts

(Cinet)- In the afternoon on 20.8.2008, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh visited and worked at the university of Vietnam fine arts. Accompanying by the minister were representatives of some functional departments, divisions of the ministry.

After hearing reports from the leaders of the university, Minister Hoang Tuan Anh highly appreciated the achievements as well as the long history that the university has built and improved in recent years at the same time emphasizing the fact that the university should launch emulating movements, establishing the steering committee to commemorate 85 years of founding the university and 1000 years of Thang Long - Hanoi... Minister Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh instructed:  “The school should have strategies to develop the training of arts, expanding training levels, and cooperating with high quality universities regionally and globally. There should be strategies to improve qualifications of cadres, lecturers, as well as enhancing facilities to step by step improve the quality of studying and teaching”.

As suggested by the Minister, the University of Vietnam fine arts should organize conferences on matters to raise the quality of teaching and applying information and technology. ...After that, the Minister also spent time visiting some classes training majors of the university at the same time visiting the exhibition displaying the sketching works painted in the practical survey of students of the University of Vietnam fine arts which is now being organized at Vietnam Viet art center (Viet Art Centre, 42 Yet Kieu, HN).
