Vietnamese culture week wraps up in RoK

A week showcasing Viet Nam , titled “ Viet Nam – the Hidden Charm”, concluded in Seoul , the Republic of Korea (RoK), on November 15.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Minister of Cuture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh said the Vietnamese Culture Week in the RoK and the upcoming RoK Culture Week in Viet Nam to be held late this month would help strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries.
Echoing this statement, Kim Jong-min, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the RoK, said the culture week, in cerebration of the 15 th anniversary of Viet Nam-RoK diplomatic ties, contributed to boosting cultural exchange between the two countries and provided an opportunity for RoK people to have better understanding about the culture of Viet Nam .
The cultural exchange reflects the two countries’ determination to further develop their friendship and multi-faceted cooperation, he added.
A series of activities, including a photo exhibition promoting the culture, land and people of Viet Nam, tourism promotion programmes, a cuisine festival and traditional art performances, were held during the five-day event.
On the occasion, Minister Hoang Tuan Anh had a working session with his RoK counterpart Kim Jong-min and other relevant ministries and agencies to strengthen their future cooperation in culture, tourism and sports.
The Vietnamese delegation also visited several economic, cultural and tourist sites in the RoK.-Enditem SourceVNA
