Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism had a get-together with retired officers and artists

(Cinet)- On the morning of January 29th, 2008, leaders from Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST)had a get-together with retired officers, Ho Chi Minh and National Culture and Art awarded writers, People’s Artists and Teachers, Professors, Heads and Vice Officers of Departments under the Ministry, Committee of Sports and Gymnasium and the former National Administration of Tourism.

In the atmosphere of the new year to come, Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh, the Minister, on behalf of the ministerial leaders, wished all the attendees a Happy New Year; Representatives have also shared with ministerial leaders their opinion about the new heavy tasks that the Ministry is responsible for.

In the afternoon, Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan and other ministerial leaders had another meeting with the formers high-rank leaders of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sections. The attendance of the former highest leaders of Culture-Sports-Tourism such as Mr. Tran Van Phac, Ha Quang Du, Do Quang Trung, Ta Quang Chien, Le Duc Chinh, Phan Quang… has shown their profound care to the field development, especially when three of them are under the same management.

In responds to such fundamental care, Mr. Ha Anh Tuan, on behalf of the ministerial leaders, wished all the attendees good health for the time to come and expressed the willing that “the year 2007 marked a milestone in the Culture, Sports and Tourism operations: it witnessed the re-establishment of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Inheriting all the achievements of the former leaders, the current ministerial management board has put in much more efforts and got quite a lot new success in the past 6 months. In our works, we hope the experienced former officers will always pay attention to the section development in order to exchange and contribute ideas and advices so that the present officers can do their job better, the MCST can accomplish the tasks assigned by the Party, State and its People, which is:  building up and promoting the Culture to be the foundation for social developments, bringing up the Sports of Vietnam to the regional and Asian level, building and developing the Tourism to be the peak economy industry”
