(Cinet)- In Quảng Bình, the Minister checked preparatory work of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of opening Trường Sơn legendary tail. Of the main activities of the anniversary “A legendary tail”, Quảng Bình will organize four big scale activities: the opening ceremony of the national traveling Information Festival with nearly 40 participatory provinces and cities; the requiem for the venerated souls of revolutionary martyrs at 20 Quyết thắng road held by Vietnam Buddhist Church; Practical television program of “Tường Sơn memory” organized by Vietnam Television Station and specially the major anniversary taken place on 16 May 2009 at Voluntary Youth statue in the center of Phong Nha - Kẻ Bàng heritage.
The Minister also checked tourism activities at the world natural heritage of Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng.
This morning, 23 March 2009, the Minister Hoang Tuan Anh has a working session with Quảng Bình provincial People’s Committee on the preparatory work and the implementation of the 50th anniversary activities for opening Hồ Chí Minh road, the Traditional day of Trường Sơn Army (19 May 1959 -19 May 2009) and other aspects related to culture, sports, tourism and family work of the province.
