(Cinet)- On the morning of 14th November, the press award ceremony for the cause of the 2007 great national unity is taken place at the headquarters of Vietnam National Front.
The volume of press works attending the contest in 2007 is 642, of which the Organizing Board selects and give 60 prizes including 1 prize A, 15 prize B, 17prize C, and 27 consolation prize.
The author, Linh Nga Niec Dam, wins the first prize for her significant work named “I was taught by Uncle Ho in the anti-French assistance war”, so she is worthy of getting 10 million VND. 15 works winning prize B is worth 7 million VND/per while 17 prize C is 7 million VND/per and 27 consolation prize.
Those awarded works are deep writings which reflect the Vietnamese ethic groups’ vivid life nationwide. Particularly, Thu Ha, a correspondent of the Vietnamese Communist Party electronics Newspaper gets a prize B for her expressive work titled “a 20-year-old farming manager” and the author, Dao Nguyen, obtains a consolation prize for his good work called “Special Cell”.
Press prize for the cause of the great national unity held by the Central Committee of the Vietnam National Front since 2003 really attracts the majority of Journalists in various genres such as pictorial magazine; writing, speaking and electronic newspapers.
At the press ceremony, PhamThe Duyet, chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam National Front, Head of the Organizing Board highlights: “The press award for the cause of the 2007 great national unity contributes to encouraging journalists to study and create high quality press works which reflect honest life in modern society. In the last 5 years, a great number of skilled writers have a positive effect on safeguarding and building the Vietnam National Front in the new era.
Linh Nga Niec Dam emotionally says:” My father is devoted his own life to the Party and Uncle Ho. Iam working at Tay Nguyen and Uncle Ho is the best example for me to follow.”
