The US Consulate in HCM City and its partner, Can Tho Public Library, opened the US-Viet Nam Studies Corner at 1 Phan Dinh Phung Street in Can Tho City on November 15.
The corner provides books, newspapers, magazines and computers with Internet access for the public to gain more understanding about the US and its people.
It also houses a meeting room with a maximum 100 seats and is equipped with a digital video conference system to serve teleconference meetings.
This is the third such centre in the country, following two others established at Da Nang University and Hai Phong University.
