(Cinet)- Morning February 20th, 2008 in Hanoi the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism held a press conference on the contest of composing the works of art and literature to response from the campaign “ Study and do as Ho Chi Minh’s” and “ 1000 year anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi”.
This is a big contest gathering several professional and non-professional authors, directors, choreographers, musicians, artists, sculptors, photographers and Vietnamese people who are living abroad to create a lot of spiritual works of art. This improves step by step the qualities as well as the depth of art and literature works
The theme focuses on two main topics, these are: Praising the moral example of Ho Chi Minh, the Career Revolution leaded by The Communist Party of Vietnam; honoring the magnanimous past of 1000 years establishment and protection country of many Vietnamese generations who are very close with Thang Long – Ha Noi. The topics can be performed in 6 forms: Music, dance, stage, cinema, fine arts and photography.
The contest begins in February 2008 and finishes in October, quarter IV 2008 for Cinema, quarter II 2009 for Dance and Stage and quarter III 2009 for Fine Arts and Photography
