Thanh Hoa: Restoring the historical monument “Ba Trieu Temple”

(Cinet)- Welcoming the Ba Trieu Festival and celebrating 1760 death years of the nation’s heroic woman, Trieu Thi Trinh (Ba Trieu), construction items for restoring and embellish the community of the cultural and historical monument for the Ba Trieu Temple are being completed. The inaugurate day is expected to be on 29th March, an official day of the festival.

The cost is worth 13.241 billion dong. Up to now, the construction has officially completed the whole temple under the architecture of “internal and external country”, including Tien duong, Thien Tinh yard, Trung duong, Hau cung…Restoring and embellishing the Ba Trieu Temple still ensures the origin of the construction and remains old architecture in a cultural space imbued with Ba Trieu’s hallmarks. Beside that, Thanh Hoa province held a contest on creating designing models for the Ba Trieu monument to seek the best which represents not only the heroic woman’s indomitable goodwill against the enemy but also show the familiar character for the people in general and the Vietnamese women in particular. Thanh Hoa Department of Culture and Information also carries out collecting, researching and maintaining the Ba Trieu Temple Festival with a view to preserving some the worship and festival’s typical contents lost in oblivion such as greeting palanquin in line with the traditional custom, Ngo Trieu festival…
