Organizing Plan for the 2008 original festival in Phu Tho province

(Cinet)- On 15th November, in order to implement the conclusion of provincial standing Committee on the organizing Plan for the 2008 original festival, Nguyen Doan Khanh, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, chairs the meeting with senior representatives of Departments: Culture and Information, Den Hung historical vestige area e.g. to agree on the 2008 original festival and Hung Vuong Death anniversary.

Attending the draft of organizing plan and consulting participatory ideas of locals and levels, the Chairman of People’s Committee concluded: The 2008 original festival held by provincial People’s Committee lasts from 6^th January to 10^th March in the year of the Mouse at Den Hung historical vestige area and communes and districts and urban. The opening ceremony begins on the evening of the 6^th January at Au Co Temple in Ha Hoa commune. During that time, there are many activities such as festivals, culture, sports and tourist trade promotion. Also, locals and levels jointly prepare favorable conditions for the successful implementation of activity programs which are based on strengthening socialization towards socio-economic efficiency.

At the same time, a representative of Department of Culture and Information reports construction plans of cultural heritage document “Den Hung historical Vestige and the early bronze-iron era in Phu Tho is the world cultural heritage”.
