The exhibition will display 50 works by 11 Vietnamese artists, including Thanh Chuong, Quach Dong Phuong, Le Thiet Cuong, Dinh Quan and sculptor Le Cong Thanh, and eight Korean artists.

Cuong last month showed his work in a solo exhibition at the Korean Cultural Centre, in Viet Nam. He is the first Vietnamese artist to exhibit at the centre, according to director Kim Sang-ug.

The exhibition Good Morning Viet Nam, Good Morning Korea is held jointly by the Korea Foundation and the Korean Cultural Centre in Viet Nam, and supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Viet Nam.

The exhibition commemorates the 15th anniversary of diplomatic ties between South Korea and Viet Nam and will be held in Gallery Areum at the Korea Foundation Cultural Centre.

The two-week exhibition will promote further mutual exchanges in the fine art field, and will help Koreans improve their knowledge and sense of Viet Nam’s fine arts, said Kim.
