German photographer and photography teacher Peter Bialobrzeski on October 1 began his tour of Southeast Asian countries in Ha Noi, Vietnam.
From October 2007 to March 2008, the German photographer will spend a month at a time in each of several Southeast Asian cities, working and teaching as an artist in residence.

The themes of Peter Bialobrzeski’s own work will be “Urban Nature” and “Urban Structures”. The intent is to illuminate the interfaces between urban vegetation and the infrastructure of modern Asian megacities, and to make a photographic record of urban intersections in Asian cities.
In addition, Peter Bialobrzeski will conduct practical workshops with photographers from each host country on the theme of “Urban Structures in Contemporary Photography”.
Upon completion of the project, a book will be published, and a simple and inexpensive travelling exhibition will display the photographic works in the six cities where they were created, and subsequently in selected cultural institutions in
