(Cinet) – According to the plan of the Organization Board, the prize will be officially taken place from 10 -15/05/2009, in Ha Dong town, Quang Tri province and it is estimated that the prize will attract 30 - 40 delegations of athletes which are equivalent to 500 - 700 athletes ,coaches, nurse coming from many provinces and cities nationwide. The prize is cooperated by the General Department of the Physical training and Sports, Vietnam Paralympic association, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri.
In the morning of 13/03/09, at the headquarters of the General Department of the Physical training and Sports, the Director of the Public Department of the Physical training and Sports already hosted the meeting between the leadership of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri (the unit hosting the meeting between the Department and the leadership of the Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri)- about the sporting prize for the disabled in the whole country in 2009. The meeting concentrates on some main matters solve the remaining problems in organizing the prize as well as the profession. At the meeting, the leadership of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri already presented difficulties of the locality in hosting this prize as below: equipment for athletes competing in some fainted subjects, especially the province still lacks equipment for disabled athletes. While the expenditure frame of the branch for this prize is quite narrow so the buying of new equipment for localities will be restricted but should ensure the high quality of profession. Therefore, this is the biggest challenge of the locality when hosting this prize. Although in recent years, Quang Tri province has had many investments in facilities for sports but compared to other localities having the movement of the physical training and sports of strong development, the existing conditions could not meet the requirements for the big sporting prizes. Therefore, the branch of the physical training and sports and Quang Tri would like to lead the General Department, the Public Department of the Physical training and Sports to pay attention to and creating favorable conditions more towards localities, by doing so contributing to the general development of the whole branch. That is the opinion of Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Thắng –the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri at the meeting.
The prize is held with 7 subjects: athletic, table tennis, swimming, badminton, weightlifting, Chess and tennis. The contents of competing of each subject will be applied based on the content of 7 subjects in Paragames 4 in 2007. The law of competing of each subject according to the rules of competition of the IPC and the rules of competition of APSF. Athletes attending this prize having age from 15 onwards. Finishing the prize, the participating delegations will be received the memorial flags of the Organization Board, all types of medals will be awarded to athletes achieving results at in the contents of individuals and teams.
The goals of the official prize is to forward the humanitarian characters, the humane between people and people. This is also the practical activity of the physical training and sports to celebrate big festivals in the year.
