(Cinet)- In the first 9 months of the year 2008, the activities of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the whole Ha Tinh Province has been enhanced and achieved remarkable results.
The movement “the entire people unite to build up the cultural life” and establish cultural units, civilized offices of better quality. The state management of the cultural activities and cultural agencies has been consolidated. The department has also supervised and checked many times the cultural service activities, recognized and punished timely violations.( supervising 21 one-hour hotels, and 86 other trading agencies); carrying out establishing 20 documents ranking at the provincial level of relics, collecting 23 kilos of ancient coins, circulating and adding books, newspapers, magazines for systems such as libraries and issuing1.461 library cards; Holding successfully 2 scientific conferences and publishing many valuable books such as: Ngo Duc Ke, life and works by the professor Ngô Đức Thọ; the entire poem collection of Han language by Nguyễn Du, the translated poem collection of Vương Trọng; Holding successfully public sporting prizes such as cross country run prize of Tien phong Newspaper, the football , volleyball, badminton prizes at provincial and district levels; high achievement sports have gained good results, and taken part in the competitions and gained 90 medals of all types. The state management and propaganda of tourist activities have been strengthened, achieving up to 273.284 times of tourists in which foreign visitors accounting for 9.718 times.
