On 02/12, the transport subcommittee of the organization board of ASIAN Indoor Games 3 (AI Games 3) already held up the first meeting under the chairman of the Standing Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyễn Danh Thái – the Deputy Head of the Organization Board of the festival.
On behalf of the transport subcommittee, Mr. Trần Doãn Thọ - the Deputy Minister of the transport- head of the transport subcommittee already declared the structure of human resources of the subcommittee, proposing the opinion of establishing a standing section to be the clue to solve problems. The transport subcommittee also proposed to soon receive detailed information about arranging sporting event halls, accommodations, the route to move of the delegations at the festival.
Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Minister Nguyễn Danh Thái confirmed this was the first meeting of the transport subcommittee so the main work is to determine the tasks, and preliminary plans of the specific action program. The Organization Board agreed with the proposals of supplementing human resources of the subcommittee. As for some other issues such as choosing agencies to supply means of transportation at localities will belong to the localities. The election of athletes will belong to the transport subcommittee but in the first phase the receptionist subcommittee will be in charge of training.
The Deputy Minister Nguyễn Danh Thái also proposed the standing section of the Subcommittee to actively and frequently contact the controlling center of the Organization Board of the festival. The distribution of fees for activities of the subcommittee will be submitted to the Government for approval within this month by the Organization Board of the festival.
