Recognizing contributions made for the cause of culture, sports and tourism

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to present insignias for the cause of culture, sports and tourism to 8 individuals for their great contributions to the sector in 2007.

The individuals include Prof. PhD Patricia Oyler from US’s Simmons Information Library School; PhD Ninh Ngoc Bao Kim, head of the Asian Representative Fund Office in Vietnam; PhD Ann Hudock, deputy head of the representative of the Asian Fund Office in Vietnam; J.Donnalle, coordinator of the VALESA project; Michael Robinson, direct coordinator of the DDC project; Huyen Ton Nu Lien Huong, president of the Vietnam LEAF Association; Pham Le Huong, vice-president and general secretary of the Vietnam LEAF Association; and Doan Huy Oanh, a former cadre of the Australia National Library.

The first ceremony to present the insignia to PhD. Bao Kim, PhD Ann Hudock, Ms Le Huong, and Ms Lien Huong, was held on February 15th, 2008 at the Vietnam National Library.
