The first culture and Information center in Vieng Chan was established Decision No.2220/QĐ-TC on June 24, 1995 of Minister of Ministry of Culture and Information according to Decision No. 1049/QĐ-BVHTTDL on May 12, 2014 of Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The Center has implemented many effective activities, contributing to develop a cooperating relationship between two nations to promote culture and tourism based on international integration and foreign relationship of the Party and the State. The Center becomes a connection of foreign relation between two countries and a reliable destination of Vietnamese people community in Laos to find out more land, people and cultural tradition of Vietnamese culture and arts.
